You may have noticed that some mysterious posts have recently appeared in Big Wood. These (8 of them) mark out the route of a new nature trail. The circular trail - of about half a mile - starts and finishes at the Woodlands Lane car park. At the time of writing.(mid January), the trail leflet is still being finalised by its author, FOAP committee member Bill Grange - with a view to it being published in June, 2012, in time for the launch day of our Community spaces Project, of which the trail is a part. For the time being, therefore, we have a trail marked out but no leaflet.
Also part of the community Spaces Project is a new leaflet (replacing the present out-of-date one) for the existing trail going from the main (A6) car park and round the lake. This has also been produced by Bill Grange and will also be published in June.
